PSFCU offers a wide variety of savings accounts to help you save and plan for your future. All of our deposit accounts are Federally Insured by the NCUA up to $250,000.00, which mean that your money is safe! A credit union savings account represents a member’s “share” in the ownership of the financial cooperative.
A share draft account has no minimum balance requirement and no monthly service charges. Direct deposits and payroll deduction can be made.
Member with a share draft (checking) account can transfer, make withdrawals and use as a debit card instead of writing a check.
A share certificate account has a set term and a minimum required deposit. We have terms of 6, 12, and 18 months with a minimum balance of $1,000.00. Dividends are higher and paid more frequently thank regular share accounts.
Many members participate in the Christmas Club plan. You can sign up any time during the year. The club account pays out on October 15th of each year. No account withdrawal limitations apply from October 15th thru December 31st.
A special savings account for members under the age of 18. The minimum balance is lower to help educate and start our youth’s saving.
The deferred account is a way for a 10 month school employees to save for the summer months. This account pays out during the summer months and earns dividends. Account withdrawal limitations do not apply from July 1st thru August 31st.
